Terms of Service
Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Alpine Auto Glass LLC (“Alpine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
Services Provided
Alpine Auto Glass provides auto glass repair and replacement services, including but not limited to windshield replacement, chip repair, door glass replacement, ADAS recalibration, and mobile glass repair services throughout Spokane, Spokane Valley, and surrounding areas in Washington and Idaho.
Service Appointments and Scheduling
Appointment Confirmation: All service appointments must be confirmed by Alpine Auto Glass. Appointment requests made through our website, phone, or other channels are not guaranteed until confirmed by our team.
Cancellation Policy: Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments without penalty if notice is provided at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a service call fee.
Service Location: Mobile service is provided within our standard service area at no additional charge. Service outside our standard area may be subject to additional fees, which will be communicated prior to scheduling.
Weather and Delays: Alpine Auto Glass reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of any delays or rescheduling as soon as possible.
Pricing and Payment
Estimates: Price estimates provided by phone, online, or in person are approximate and subject to change based on actual vehicle inspection and service requirements. Final pricing will be confirmed before work begins.
Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and insurance direct billing.
Insurance Claims: When insurance coverage is used, the customer is responsible for any deductible, non-covered services, or amounts not paid by the insurance carrier. Alpine Auto Glass will bill insurance carriers directly when authorized, but the customer remains ultimately responsible for all charges.
Additional Services: If additional services or parts are required beyond the original estimate, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding with additional work.
Service Warranties
Workmanship Warranty: Alpine Auto Glass provides a lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship for all glass installations. This warranty covers leaks, adhesive failure, and molding defects caused by installation error. The warranty does not cover damage from collisions, rocks, weather events, or improper vehicle care.
Glass Defects: Manufacturing defects in glass are covered by the glass manufacturer’s warranty, typically one year from installation date. Alpine Auto Glass will facilitate warranty claims with manufacturers on behalf of customers.
ADAS Recalibration: ADAS recalibration services are warranted for 90 days from service date. The warranty covers recalibration accuracy and system functionality directly related to our service.
Warranty Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage from accidents, vandalism, acts of nature, improper vehicle modifications, or abuse. Warranty claims must be reported within a reasonable timeframe of discovery.
Customer Responsibilities
Vehicle Access: Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the vehicle for service. For mobile service, this includes ensuring the vehicle is parked in a location suitable for glass installation work.
Accurate Information: Customers must provide accurate information about their vehicle, insurance coverage, and service needs. Incorrect information may result in delays, additional costs, or inability to complete service.
Safe Drive-Away Time: Customers must adhere to safe drive-away time recommendations provided by our technicians. Driving the vehicle before the adhesive has properly cured may compromise the installation and void the warranty.
Vehicle Condition: Customers are responsible for removing personal belongings from the vehicle before service. Alpine Auto Glass is not responsible for damage to aftermarket accessories, custom modifications, or personal property left in the vehicle.
Liability Limitations
Service Limitations: Alpine Auto Glass will perform services in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. However, we cannot guarantee that all glass damage can be repaired, or that repairs will be completely invisible.
Vehicle Damage: Alpine Auto Glass is not liable for pre-existing damage to vehicles, including paint damage, rust, previous poor repairs, or structural issues that may be discovered or affected during glass replacement.
Consequential Damages: Alpine Auto Glass is not liable for consequential damages including but not limited to lost wages, rental car costs, towing fees, or other indirect damages except as required by law or insurance policy.
Maximum Liability: Our maximum liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Insurance and Third-Party Billing
Insurance Verification: While we will verify insurance coverage as a courtesy, customers are responsible for understanding their own insurance policy terms, coverage, and deductibles.
Claim Approval: Insurance claim approval is at the sole discretion of the insurance carrier. If a claim is denied or partially paid, the customer is responsible for all charges.
Assignment of Benefits: When customers assign insurance benefits to Alpine Auto Glass, we will bill the insurance carrier directly. However, the customer remains ultimately responsible for payment if the insurance carrier does not pay.
ADAS Recalibration Disclosure
ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) recalibration is required after windshield replacement on most vehicles manufactured in 2018 or later. Failure to recalibrate ADAS systems may result in improper operation of safety features including lane-keeping assist, collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. Customers who decline recommended ADAS recalibration do so at their own risk and release Alpine Auto Glass from any liability related to ADAS system malfunction.
