Side Window Replacement, Often the Same Day
Side windows are tempered glass, not laminated. When they break they let go completely, into thousands of blunt pieces that end up in the door cavity, the seat rails and the carpet. Replacing the glass is half the job; getting the old glass out of the door is the other half.

Most side glass we replace comes from a break-in or a rock thrown by a truck. Because tempered glass is designed to shatter rather than spear, there is nothing to repair — a broken side window is always a replacement. We can usually get a vehicle secure the same day.
Clearing the Door Properly
Tempered fragments collect inside the door skin, around the window regulator and in the drain channels. Left there they rattle, jam the window and block the drains. Vacuuming the cavity out is part of the job, not an extra.
