Mobile Windshield Replacement, Insurance Billed Direct
A windshield is laminated safety glass bonded into the body of the car, and it carries real structural load. When a crack has spread past the point of repair, replacing it properly matters more than replacing it fast. Alpine has been doing this work across Spokane, Spokane Valley and Coeur d’Alene for more than 21 years.
When a Windshield Needs Replacing Rather Than Repairing
Damage is repairable when the chip is smaller than a quarter, the crack runs shorter than about three inches, and it sits outside the driver’s direct line of sight. Past any of those, replacement is the honest answer — a repair that leaves distortion where the driver is looking has not fixed anything. Send us the year, make and model and a description of the damage, and we will tell you which one you are looking at.
Mobile Replacement Across the Spokane Area
Most windshield replacements are done at your home or workplace at no extra charge, inside a 30-mile radius of the Spokane Valley shop. We need a level surface and enough clearance to work around the vehicle. If you are outside that zone, call anyway — we make exceptions where we can.
Adhesive, Cure Time and Driving Away
The glass is bonded to the pinchweld with urethane, and that adhesive needs time to reach strength before the vehicle is safe to drive. We will tell you the safe drive-away time for the adhesive used on your car rather than leaving you to guess at it.

Your Choice of Shop
WAC 284-30-390 bars an insurer from requiring a particular facility. You cannot be penalized for choosing an independent shop.
ADAS Recalibration
Lane departure warning, adaptive cruise and automatic emergency braking read through the windshield, so those systems are recalibrated after a replacement.

We cover a 30-mile radius from the Spokane Valley shop. Outside that zone, call anyway and we will make exceptions where we can.
Repair Before Replacing
If the chip is smaller than a quarter, the crack runs under about three inches and it sits outside the driver's line of sight, a resin repair is faster and cheaper.

FAQs
Quick answers to the questions we hear most. Don’t see yours? Call (509) 892-6699 and ask directly.
Do I have to use the shop my insurance company sent me to?
No. Washington law protects your right to pick the glass shop, not your insurer’s. WAC 284-30-390 bars insurers from requiring a particular facility, and you cannot be penalized for choosing an independent shop over a national chain.
Will insurance cover this, and what do I pay out of pocket?
Windshield damage falls under comprehensive coverage, so your comprehensive deductible applies to a replacement. We bill your carrier directly, so the deductible is normally all you pay us.
Can you come to my house or my office?
Yes. Mobile service covers most of the Spokane area at no extra charge. We need a level surface and enough clearance to work around the vehicle.
Does my windshield need recalibration after replacement?
If your vehicle has lane departure warning, adaptive cruise or automatic emergency braking, yes. Those systems read the road through the windshield, so moving the glass moves the camera and the system has to be recalibrated.
How soon can I drive after the windshield is replaced?
The urethane adhesive needs to reach strength first. The safe drive-away time depends on the adhesive and the conditions on the day, and we will tell you what it is for your vehicle before we leave.
